Two men sentenced for raping minors
Two men were punished for doing very bad things to young girls.
One man, Patan Rahmatullah Khan, tricked a 16-year-old girl into a relationship, made her pregnant, and then took her away to another city.
The other man, who is from West Bengal, hurt his own 16-year-old daughter and told her not to tell anyone.
The first man was caught after a long time and was sent to jail for 20 years.
The second man was also sent to jail for 10 years.
Both men had to pay big fines for what they did.
Patan Rahmatullah Khan was sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,00,000 for raping and kidnapping a minor girl.
The court awarded an additional 5 years imprisonment and Rs 50,000 fine for kidnapping under the Pocso Act.
An unnamed man from West Bengal was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 for raping his own 16-year-old daughter.
The incidents occurred on November 2, 2020, and before August 24, 2023, respectively.
Both accused were arrested and the cases were thoroughly investigated by the police.
