How to Check PF Balance Without Internet: SMS & Missed Call
Want to know your retirement savings without the internet?
You can!
The government offers a way to check your PF (Provident Fund) balance using your phone.
You can either give a missed call to a specific number, or send an SMS to another number.
To use these services, your account needs to be set up properly: you'll need to have activated your UAN, and ensure your phone number is linked.
Make sure your KYC details are also updated.
If you choose to use the SMS feature, you will be able to receive it in several different languages.
Employees can check their PF balance via missed call or SMS without internet.
The missed call service is available by dialing a specific number from a registered mobile number.
