Lakers Allow Doncic to Play for Slovenia with Coach

Luka Doncic, a basketball player, will be playing for his home country, Slovenia, in a tournament during the off-season.

The Los Angeles Lakers, his NBA team, agreed to let him play but will send a coach to supervise him.

This is similar to arrangements Doncic had with his previous team, the Dallas Mavericks.

Fans have noticed Doncic looking slimmer recently.

A former player suggested that the pressures of the NBA season, including travel and irregular eating, can affect players' fitness.
