Italy Debuts at T20 World Cup Without Burns

Italy is going to play in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup for the first time.

Joe Burns, who was their captain and helped them qualify, won't be part of the team because they couldn't agree on a contract.

Instead, Wayne Madsen will be the new captain.

The federation says this decision is to make the team more stable and harmonious.

Italy will play their first match against Bangladesh in Kolkata.

They will also play against England, West Indies, and Nepal.

Madsen is a experienced player who has played for Italy before and will lead the team in a series against Ireland before the World Cup.
