Nexus Select Targets Eight Retail Acquisitions to Expand
Imagine a company that owns big shopping malls and hotels.
Nexus Select Trust is one of those companies in India.
It wants to buy eight more malls in different cities, like Guwahati and places in Bihar and Jharkhand.
Two of the deals are still being checked, and one big mall in Guwahati will also have a hotel with 164 rooms.
The company made more money in the last quarter, earning ₹510 crore from rents, and it gave ₹370 crore back to its investors.
Since it started in 2023, it has given out more than ₹4,080 crore to people who own shares.
It also plans to build a new mall in Mumbai with a partner, spending about ₹900 crore.
This shows the company is growing and wants to keep making money for its investors.
Nexus Select Trust plans eight retail acquisitions across India, targeting cities in Bihar, Jharkhand, Guwahati, and the south.
Two deals are in due diligence; a 500,000‑sq‑ft shopping centre in Guwahati includes a 164‑key hotel.
Q2 FY27 net operating income rose 11% YoY to ₹510 cr, with a ₹370 cr distribution (₹2.44 per unit).
Since listing in 2023, the Reit has distributed over ₹4,080 cr and achieved a 25% IRR.
Nexus is partnering with Runwal Enterprises to build a 700,000‑sq‑ft mall in Dombivli, Mumbai, with a ₹900 cr investment.
