Dale Steyn Supports Ottneil Baartman After T20 World Cup Snub

Dale Steyn, a famous South African cricket player, has supported Ottneil Baartman, another fast bowler, after Baartman was not chosen for the South Africa team in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in 2026.

Steyn believes Baartman is one of the best white-ball bowlers in South Africa.

Baartman has been very successful in the SA20 league, where he has taken the most wickets, won two titles, and reached one final.

Even though he was part of the South African team that came second in the T20 World Cup 2024, he has not played many international matches since then.

The South African team for the 2026 World Cup has six fast bowlers, but Steyn thinks Baartman would make the team even stronger.

He has worked closely with Baartman and believes his performance in the SA20 proves his quality.

Another cricket player, David Miller, also praised Baartman's positive attitude and performance despite missing out on the World Cup.
