Prisoner shot dead on way to Jaipur jail; LoP questions
A man was riding his motorcycle in Jaipur, a city in India.
The man, named Gangasahay Kumawat, was a prisoner.
He lived in an open jail, which lets prisoners go home sometimes.
He was on his way back to the jail after visiting his home.
Two men with masks came up to him on a motorcycle and shot at him.
One of the bullets hit him in the head, and he died right there.
The two men rode away, and nobody knows yet why they did this.
The police came and started looking for clues and for the two attackers.
A leader named Tika Ram Jully said the city feels unsafe and asked the state government to explain what happened.
Gangasahay Kumawat (45), a prisoner at Sanganer Open Jail, was shot dead in Jaipur on Wednesday evening while returning from his home.
Two masked men on a motorcycle fired three rounds, one striking him in the head, and fled the spot.
