Namo Bharat: India's Fastest Train Reaches 160 kmph
Imagine a super-fast train in India called Namo Bharat.
This train is now the fastest, going up to 160 kilometers per hour!
It runs on the Delhi-Meerut route and has modern designs.
It's faster than trains like the Gatimaan Express and Vande Bharat, which used to be the fastest but now go slower.
The entire route will have 16 stations when completed.
The train is designed in Hyderabad and made in Gujarat.
It's a project by the Indian government and Delhi, UP, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
Namo Bharat is now India's fastest train, reaching 160 km/h.
It operates on a 55-km section of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS.
The train surpassed Gatimaan Express and Vande Bharat.
These trains previously ran at 160 km/h but reduced their speed in June 2024.
The full Delhi-Meerut corridor is 82.15 km long and has 16 stations planned.
