Amber Cheruvu Clean-up Drive Initiated
A big lake called Amber Cheruvu in Hyderabad is being cleaned up.
It had become very dirty because people were throwing animal waste into it.
A group called HYDRAA is working to remove all the garbage.
They have already taken out a lot of trash and plan to finish the clean-up soon.
They are also putting up a fence to stop people from dumping waste again and trying to move the meat shops that were causing the problem.
They are watching the area closely to catch anyone who tries to dump waste illegally.
HYDRAA has initiated a clean-up drive at Amber Cheruvu to remove garbage and restore the lake's condition.
About 30 truckloads of garbage have been removed, with an estimated 30 more truckloads still to be cleared.
The clean-up work is expected to be completed within the next one or two days.
HYDRAA plans to fence the lake and relocate meat-selling shops to prevent further dumping.
Increased surveillance and legal action are being taken against vehicles caught dumping waste illegally.
