Telangana BJP leader N. Ramchander Rao criticised the Congress and BRS parties.

He said they treated minority communities mainly as groups whose votes they wanted.

Rao said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has focused more on helping minorities.

He pointed to government schemes where he said minorities receive a larger share of benefits than their population share.

He also said many minority students received scholarships.

Rao accused Congress of creating divisions and criticised its response to allegations involving an MIM legislator.
