New Delhi Railway Station Implements New Parking Rules
Imagine you're going to the train station to drop someone off.
Now, there's a new rule!
You get 8 minutes to say goodbye without paying.
If you stay longer, you'll pay a small fee, like ₹50 if you stay up to 15 minutes.
They use something called FASTag to collect the money automatically.
There are special lanes just for dropping people off.
If you're picking someone up, you need to park in a different area and pay the regular parking fees.
New parking rules have been implemented at the Ajmeri Gate side of New Delhi Railway Station.
All vehicles get free entry for the first eight minutes.
Parking charges apply after the grace period, deducted via FASTag.
Charges are ₹50 for 8-15 minutes, ₹200 for 15-30 minutes, and ₹500 for over 30 minutes.
Three drop-off lanes are exclusively for dropping passengers; pick-ups use general or VIP parking.
