Government Earmarks Four MBBS Seats for Terror Victim Families

The government has set aside four medical college seats for some families affected by terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

The seats will be available for the 2026–27 school year.

Eligible applicants can be children or spouses of civilian victims.

The seats are in colleges in Bihar, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.

Students must pass the required school subjects and qualify in NEET-UG 2026.

Their NEET rank will decide who is selected.

Children whose parents were both killed receive the highest priority.

Applicants must provide official documents proving their family’s loss or injury.
