BJP MLA Accused of Bigamy and Torture

Anindita Chatterjee, the wife of West Bengal BJP MLA Hiran Chatterjee, has filed a police complaint against her husband and a model named Ritika Giri.

Anindita alleges that Hiran has been mentally and physically torturing her and has entered into a relationship with Ritika without obtaining a legal divorce.

The allegations came to light after photos of Hiran and Ritika's alleged marriage ceremony went viral on social media.

Anindita, along with her 19-year-old daughter, claims they have been facing extreme mental stress and humiliation since the news broke.

Hiran's daughter, Niyasa, expressed her embarrassment and confusion over the situation.

Ritika Giri, however, has countered the allegations, claiming that Anindita was aware of their relationship and that a legal divorce notice was sent.

The police have launched an inquiry into the matter.
