Kadapa Home Guards aid retired colleague with one day's pay
Some police helpers in a place called Kadapa did something very kind.
They are called Home Guards, and they help keep people safe.
One of their friends, Mr. P Narasimhulu, just finished his job and retired.
That means he stopped working after many years of service.
His friends wanted to help him because retiring can be a big change.
So every Home Guard in their district gave up the money they earn in one single day of work.
Together, their gifts added up to 3,98,310 rupees.
That is a lot of money!
Their leader, the District SP, gave the money to Mr. Narasimhulu in a special ceremony.
