Modi Govt Ended Decades of Discrimination in J&K's Remote Regions: Dr. Jitendra Singh
A government minister named Dr. Jitendra Singh said that before Prime Minister Modi took charge, some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, like a place called Nagrota, were not treated fairly.
He explained that previous leaders didn't help these areas much because they wanted to please certain groups of voters.
But since 2014, Dr. Singh says things have changed a lot.
Nagrota is now getting new schools like IIT and IIM, and roads are being built to make travel easier.
The government is also giving help, like gas stoves and houses, to people who need them, no matter who they vote for.
This means everyone is being treated more equally now.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that previous governments neglected remote regions of J&K and practiced discrimination.
He asserted that the Modi government ended decades of discrimination starting in 2014, bringing remote areas into the mainstream.
Dr. Singh highlighted the establishment of IIT and IIM in Nagrota as examples of development.
Improved connectivity, including the nearing completion of the Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway, was also mentioned.
The minister cited PM Ujjwala Yojana and PM Awas Yojana as schemes implemented without political preference.
