Lashkar-e-Tayiba Expands Outreach Network Across Pakistan Amid Rebuilding Drive

Lashkar-e-Tayiba Expands Outreach Network Across Pakistan Amid Rebuilding Drive

Indian officials say Lashkar-e-Tayiba is building many new centers in Pakistan.

Seven of these centers were reportedly built in Sindh during the past year.

The centers are described as places where the group can recruit young people, collect money and organize activities.

Senior commanders are traveling in guarded convoys to meet supporters.

Officials allege that Pakistani state institutions are helping protect or support these activities.

They also say the group is trying to appear more like a normal political or social organization.

At the same time, officials claim its violent activities and plans to send militants into Jammu and Kashmir continue.

These claims have raised concerns about security and recruitment.
