Jayant Chaudhary Urges UP Election Debate Beyond Caste Politics
Jayant Chaudhary is a leader of the Rashtriya Lok Dal and a Union minister.
He criticized Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav during a party event in Lucknow.
Chaudhary said politics should not focus mainly on caste.
He said people should instead discuss jobs, education, farming, business and development.
He referred to the ideas of his grandfather, Chaudhary Charan Singh.
He also talked about libraries being added to schools and money being used for education.
Chaudhary mentioned plans for defence manufacturing and improved technical training.
He said young people should receive more opportunities in political organisations.
The comments came as the parties face increasing tension before the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections.
