Banned Manjha Leaves Motorcyclist With Deep Neck Cut in Faridabad
A man was riding his motorcycle in a city in India called Faridabad.
A very sharp type of kite string called "manjha" got wrapped around his neck.
This string is banned because it can be very dangerous.
The man did not know the string was around his neck, so he kept riding.
The string cut his neck deeply, leaving an 11-centimetre wound.
He also got a cut on his forehead.
Kind people nearby saw what happened and rushed to help him.
He was treated at a hospital and then taken to a bigger medical centre in Delhi.
Police are looking into the incident and may file a case about it.
Pankaj Kumar, 25, suffered an approximately 11-cm deep neck wound when banned Chinese manjha wrapped around his neck while he rode a motorcycle in Faridabad.
The incident occurred near the Old Faridabad flyover as Kumar was on his way to his aunt's house in Old Faridabad.
Kumar also sustained a 5-cm gash on his forehead and did not stop the bike initially because he was unaware of the string.
Bystanders helped the injured man; he received first aid at B K Hospital and was later referred to an advanced medical centre in Delhi.
Police from the Old Faridabad police station are investigating, and an FIR will be registered once an official complaint is received.
