Thane Expands Ganesh Idol Immersion Arrangements
The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) is getting ready for the Ganesh festival!
They're making it easier to immerse the Ganesh idols.
This year, they've created more places for people to put their idols in the water.
Smaller idols (under six feet) go in special man-made lakes.
Bigger ones can go in the regular water.
There are many places to do this: artificial lakes, tanks, mobile teams, and more.
The festival starts on August 27 and lasts for 11 days.
