Google Live Updates Coming to Samsung Galaxy Watches in 2026

Google is bringing its Live Updates feature to Samsung Galaxy Watches, similar to Apple's Live Activities.

This will let users see real-time info from apps like ride-sharing or food deliveries.

The feature was announced at Google's I/O 2025 event.

It won't be in this year's One UI 8 Watch update.

Instead, it's planned for a later update.

Samsung is currently using its Now Bar feature for some live updates.

Google's Live Updates will be more versatile, supporting third-party apps.

This move aims to improve how real-time info is shown on phones and watches, making them more useful.
