Odisha Offers Free Bus Travel for School Students
The Odisha government has decided to give free bus rides to all school students.
Before this, students got a 50% discount on bus fares.
Now, they won't have to pay anything.
Students just need to show their school ID or wear their uniform to get a free ticket.
The government wants to make sure more students can go to school easily.
They are also changing bus routes to include as many schools as possible.
This decision was made in a meeting led by the Chief Minister in August 2023.
