Mumbai Metro Line 3 Nears Completion After Safety Inspection
Mumbai is getting a new subway line called the Aqua Line, which is all underground.
Right now, inspectors are checking the last part of the line to make sure it's safe.
If it passes the checks, the entire line from Colaba to Aarey can open for the public.
This new subway will connect busy areas in Mumbai, making it easier and faster for people to travel.
This project, which has been worked on since 2016, will also ease traffic on roads and other railways.
CMRS began inspecting the final section of Mumbai's Aqua Line.
The last section inspected is between Worli and Cuffe Parade.
The inspection is a requirement before the line can open to the public.
The inspection report is expected next week.
The line will connect Colaba to Aarey upon completion.
