Andhra Pradesh High Court Orders Industrial Incentive Payments

Andhra Pradesh High Court Orders Industrial Incentive Payments

The Andhra Pradesh government promised money incentives to people who built spinning mills.

Some of that money has not yet been paid.

The industrialists asked the High Court for help.

The court told the government to pay the arrears by the end of September.

The government said it owes the money but has delayed payment because its finances are weak.

The court said this reason was not enough to avoid the promised payments.

The case will be heard again in October.

The earlier court order had also required payment with interest within four months.
