Woman Framed Husband in Cow Slaughter Case
A woman in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is suspected of framing her husband in a cow slaughter case.
Police found beef in a vehicle booked in her husband's name, but they think it was planted.
This isn't the first time; a similar incident happened last September.
The woman's associate, Amaan, has been arrested, but the woman, Ameena, is still missing.
Police are also investigating some of their own officers for trying to arrest Ameena inside a court, which is not allowed.
Three police officers have been suspended because of this.
A woman, Ameena, is suspected of framing her husband, Wasif, in a cow slaughter case by planting beef in a vehicle booked in his name.
Police found 12 kg of suspected beef in a vehicle on January 14, leading to an investigation that revealed the evidence was likely planted.
A similar incident from September last year, where Wasif was briefly arrested for suspected beef in his vehicle, is now believed to be part of the same conspiracy.
Amaan, an associate of Ameena, has been arrested, while Ameena remains at large.
