Bengaluru Event Honors Senior Domestic Workers with 'Adopt a Granny'

The Stree Jagruthi Samithi (SJS) is holding an event called 'Adopt a Granny' on May 31st in Bengaluru.

The event is to honor senior domestic workers, who have worked hard for many years, often without much appreciation.

It's happening before International Domestic Workers’ Day on June 16th.

The event is asking people to help and support these older workers.

It's a way of showing respect and solidarity for their years of service.

The event's theme is 'They cared for us when we needed them, now it’s our turn to care for them!'
