Aamir Khan's Role in Taare Zameen Par

Akshaye Khanna was initially considered for the role of an art teacher in the movie Taare Zameen Par.

The writer, Amole Gupte, approached Aamir Khan to narrate the story to Akshaye.

Aamir, being a friend of Akshaye, wanted to hear the story first.

He liked it so much that he decided to take the role himself.

Akshaye later said that Aamir did a superb job and that it was good that destiny chose him for the role.

Akshaye is now enjoying success with his latest movie Dhurandhar and is set to debut in the Telugu industry with the film Mahakali.
