India Set to Expand Role in NTT Data’s Global AI Business

NTT Data is a technology services company that does business around the world.

Its executive Avinash Joshi says India may become an even bigger part of its AI work.

He points to more people adopting AI and the large amount of data created in India.

India also provides workers and new ideas for the company.

NTT Data says more than half of its internal patent and copyright contributions come from India.

It has already invested over $3 billion in the country since 2011.

The company plans to invest another $1.5 billion each year for three years.

Much of that money is expected to go to data centres and new capabilities.

It is also expanding AI and innovation work in Indian cities.
