Education Secretary Replaced Amid Exam Paper Leak Protests
The government has replaced the Education Secretary, Vineet Joshi, with Naresh Pal Gangwar.
This change comes after many protests by students and groups like the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) over exam paper leaks, especially in the NEET exams.
Joshi was the head of the Department of Higher Education and also served as the first director of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts big exams like NEET and JEE.
Gangwar, who is from West Bengal, was previously in charge of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
