Man Arrested for ₹45 Lakh Scrap Business Investment Fraud
A man in Hyderabad pretended to have a scrap metal business called Shalini Enterprises.
He convinced people to give him money, promising to make them a lot of profit very quickly.
For example, he told them if they gave him ₹2 lakh, he would give them back ₹3 lakh in just 10 days!
Many people believed him and sent him lots of money through online payments.
However, he took most of the money, over 45 lakh rupees, for himself and didn't give it back or make any profits.
The police caught him, and he has been put in jail.
They think he might have tricked even more people and taken even more money.
A man named Medi Siva Kumar was arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly defrauding investors of over ₹45 lakh.
He posed as the owner of 'Shalini Enterprises' and promised high profits from a scrap trading business.
Victims invested money after being promised substantial returns, such as ₹3 lakh in 10 days for a ₹2 lakh investment.
