OpenAI Unveils GPT Image 1.5 Portrait Styles
OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has launched a new feature called GPT Image 1.5.
This feature lets users turn their photos into different kinds of art, like drawings, toys, and cartoons.
The CEO, Sam Altman, showed off some examples.
Users can try styles like 3D pencil sketches, old-school mall portraits, cute chibi characters, glam dolls, plush toys, and doodles.
All these styles keep the person in the photo recognizable but make them look like different kinds of art.
This new feature is OpenAI's way of competing with other companies that also make images with AI.
OpenAI's GPT Image 1.5 introduces seven new AI-generated portrait styles.
Styles include 3D pencil sketches, classic department store portraits, chibi characters, glam dolls, plush toys, and doodles.
Users can upload their photos to transform them into these artistic styles.
The feature is positioned as a competitor to Google Gemini’s image generation tool.
Examples have been shared by OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman on social media.
