Woman Held Captive After Discovering Husband's First Wife
A woman named Tripti Dubey got married to Rahul Tiwari in April 2024.
About a week after the wedding, she found out that her husband had a relationship with another woman, Sapna Singh, whom he claimed was his first wife.
When Tripti protested, her husband and in-laws allegedly assaulted her and kept her captive in the house for nearly a year.
They also knew about the first marriage but hid it from her.
On December 31, 2025, Tripti managed to escape and file a police complaint.
The accused have fled the village, and the police are trying to find them.
