Acting Jathedar Warns Groups Against Falsely Claiming Patronage
The leader of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, said that groups who don't follow the rules from December 2024, shouldn't pretend they have the group's support.
He explained that if groups want to do their own thing politically, that's fine.
But, they shouldn't trick people by saying they're backed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, as it stops the rules from being followed.
Acting Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj stated groups should not falsely claim patronage.
The statement followed a meeting of Sikh clergy.
Gargaj referred to a December 2, 2024, edict.
Groups not accepting the edict should not mislead the community.
Gargaj stated that separate factions hinder the directive's fulfillment.
