18 Nations Pledge Support for Haiti Anti-Gang Force

Eighteen countries have promised to help Haiti fight gangs.

These gangs control most of the capital, Port-au-Prince, and cause a lot of trouble.

The new security force will start arriving in January and should be fully ready by April.

The goal is to stop the gangs, catch their leaders, and make Haiti safer.

Haiti hasn't had elections in a long time, and the current leaders are trying to hold one in 2026.

The head of the Organization of American States visited Haiti and said the government is still in charge, but not everywhere.
