Baloch Rights Group Reports Pakistani Airstrike Injuring Nine Civilians Near Quetta
A human rights group in Pakistan says that the Pakistani army dropped bombs from the sky in a mountain area called Chiltan Hills.
Nine young people were having a picnic and got hurt.
The group, called Paank, believes the army is doing this often and hurting innocent people while they say they are fighting bad guys.
Paank also said that the government is trying to hide what happened and won't let people investigate.
They mentioned a similar event happened before where people were killed.
Paank wants the United Nations to investigate and for Pakistan to follow rules that protect people during conflicts.
They believe these attacks will keep happening if no one is held responsible.
At least nine Baloch civilians were injured in an alleged Pakistani military airstrike in the Chiltan Hills near Quetta.
The Baloch rights organization Paank stated the victims were picnicking at the time of the aerial bombardment on October 28.
Paank accused Pakistani authorities of attempting to conceal the incident and of a pattern of indiscriminate air operations endangering civilians.
The organization cited a previous drone strike on October 5, 2025 (year discrepancy), in Kalat district that allegedly killed six civilians.
Paank called for an independent investigation by the UN and international human rights organizations, citing alleged breaches of domestic and international law.
