Odisha Launches District Tourism Plan to Boost Rural Growth
Odisha wants every district to develop several smaller tourist places.
These places could include heritage sites, natural areas and other local attractions.
The plan is called “One District-Multiple Tourism Initiatives.”
The government hopes more visitors will help rural communities earn money.
It also wants women, young people and small businesses to get new opportunities.
