Government Inaugurates Cross Disability Early Intervention Centre in Noida
The government opened a special center in Noida to help children with developmental delays.
The center offers many services like therapy, education, and counseling.
The minister said parents are very important in helping these children and the government will make sure no child is left behind.
The center is one of 28 in India and aims to provide the best care for children from 0 to 6 years old.
The minister and other officials visited the center and saw the facilities.
They also planted trees to show their commitment to helping every child grow and succeed.
The Cross Disability Early Intervention Centre (CDEIC) was inaugurated in Noida by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment.
The center offers comprehensive services including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Consultation, Special Education, Family Counselling, and School-readiness interventions.
Dr. Virendra Kumar emphasized the importance of early intervention and the role of parents in a child's developmental journey.
The Noida CDEIC is the 28th such center established under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD).
The center is designed to cater to children aged 0–6 years with developmental delays and other special needs from Noida and surrounding regions.
