Housefull 5 Dominates 'Thug Life' in Opening Box Office Battle
The new movie 'Housefull 5,' starring Akshay Kumar, had a great first day at the box office.
It made more money on its first day than another movie, 'Thug Life,' made in its first two days.
'Thug Life' is doing well in the Tamil version, but 'Housefull 5' is leading in the Hindi markets.
Both movies will need to keep doing well this weekend and next week to be considered hits.
Housefull 5 released on June 6 and had a strong first-day box office performance.
Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan, released a day before Housefull 5.
Housefull 5's first-day collection was higher than Thug Life's two-day collection.
Thug Life is performing well in Tamil markets but lags behind Housefull 5 in Hindi markets.
