Manmohan Singh Statue to Be Unveiled in Hyderabad
A statue of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be unveiled in Hyderabad.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will lead the ceremony on Saturday.
The event is being held on Manmohan Singh’s birth anniversary.
The bronze statue stands at Wipro Circle in Gachibowli.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the statue will help future generations remember Singh.
He praised Singh’s work as an economist and national leader.
He also highlighted programs such as rural employment, the Right to Information, and the Right to Education.
Telangana officials said Singh and the UPA government helped make the creation of Telangana possible.
