Bihar Election: NDA, Mahagathbandhan Clash Over Rs 10,000 Transfer to Women Self-Help Groups
Imagine two teams playing a game.
One team, called the NDA, gave money to women who are part of special groups to help them start their own small businesses.
They said this money was to help them.
But the other team, called the RJD, said this was like giving a bribe right before the game ends, which isn't fair.
So, the RJD complained to the referee, who is like the Election Commission.
The NDA team said, 'No, this is for helping the women, and you can't take it back!'
Both teams are also arguing about who has been a better leader, who has done good things for the state, and who has been honest.
They are also talking about creating jobs for young people and building new things in Bihar.
The NDA government transferred Rs 10,000 each to over one crore 'Jeevika Didis' as part of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana for self-employment.
The RJD has complained to the Election Commission, terming the fund transfer a 'bribe' and a violation of the Model Code of Conduct due to its timing before polling.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah defended the transfer, stating it is for women's empowerment and that the RJD cannot take the money back.
Both NDA and RJD are accusing each other of corruption, with the NDA highlighting alleged scams during RJD's past rule and promising development projects.
The election campaign also features debates on job creation for youth, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticizing PM Modi's focus on social media over employment.
