Young Woman Leads Dairy Revolution in Punjab
Amandeep Kaur is a young woman from Punjab who started a dairy farm with just two cows.
She worked hard and learned a lot about taking care of cows to get more milk.
Now, she has 35 cows and buffaloes, and her farm produces a lot of milk every day.
She built a new house for her family and is a great example for other young people who want to start their own businesses.
She shows that women can be successful farmers too, and she encourages others to follow their dreams.
Amandeep Kaur, a 27-year-old Business Administration graduate, has expanded her dairy farm from 2 cows to 35 cattle in three years.
Her farm produces around two quintals of milk daily, with her highest-yielding cow producing 40-45 litres of milk each day.
Amandeep underwent dairy farmer training at the Barnala dairy department, which helped her improve milk yield through consistent diet and right breeding practices.
With the help of the dairy department, she applied for subsidies, took loans, and constructed a shed for her animals.
Amandeep's success has broken gender stereotypes and inspired other youngsters to become entrepreneurs.
