NABARD Sanctions Rural Haat in Parumanchala
A new market called a Rural Haat is being built in a place called Parumanchala.
This market is for farmers to sell their vegetables and other produce.
Before this, farmers had to sell their things by the side of the road, which was hard, especially when it rained or was very hot.
A special bank for farmers, called NABARD, gave permission for this market to be built.
The local village council will build it.
Everyone hopes it will be finished quickly so farmers can have a better place to sell their goods.
NABARD has sanctioned a Rural Haat in Parumanchala to address farmers' marketing challenges.
The haat will be constructed by the Gram Panchayat to provide a safe and convenient selling space.
Farmers previously sold vegetables along roadsides, facing difficulties during rains and harsh summers.
Society president Mohan Raju urged villagers to cooperate for the speedy completion of the project.
The bhoomi puja for the project was conducted on Thursday, with local leaders and residents present.
