BJP Protests NC Govt Over Unemployment, Price Hike in J&K
In Srinagar, the BJP held a protest against the NC government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
They were upset about many things, like people not having jobs, prices going up, and some saying the government is not being honest.
The BJP wanted to talk to the government by going to their office.
There were many police around to keep things safe.
At the same time, the National Conference also planned a protest to ask for more rights for Jammu and Kashmir and to make sure the central government keeps its promises.
The BJP said the NC's protest was not serious and was just to cover up their past mistakes.
BJP protested against the NC government in Srinagar over unemployment, price hike, and alleged corruption.
The protest started at Ghanta Ghar, Lal Chowk, and aimed to gherao the Civil Secretariat.
Heavy security was deployed from Ghanta Ghar to the Civil Secretariat and around the BJP office.
National Conference announced a simultaneous protest demanding statehood for Jammu and Kashmir and accountability for promises made by the Centre.
BJP's Leader of Opposition, Sunil Kumar Sharma, criticized the NC for not being serious about youth issues and for calling a protest at the same time.
