New Traffic Rules at Airport to Ease Congestion
Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru is introducing new traffic rules to make things better for everyone.
Right now, there are too many cars and passengers, which causes traffic jams and long waits.
Starting on December 8, 2025, private cars will have 8 minutes to pick up or drop off passengers for free.
If they stay longer, they will have to pay a fee, and if they stay too long, their car might get towed.
Taxis and other commercial vehicles will have to wait in special parking areas, and the first 10 minutes will be free.
These new rules are meant to make the airport a safer and more pleasant place for everyone.
New traffic regulations will be introduced at Kempegowda International Airport starting December 8, 2025, to ease congestion and improve safety.
Private cars will have free access to pick-up zones for up to 8 minutes, with fees applying for longer stays and towing beyond 18 minutes.
Commercial vehicles must wait in designated parking zones, with the first 10 minutes of parking being free.
Terminal 1 commercial vehicles will park at P3 and P4, while Terminal 2 vehicles will park at P2.
