UP Seizes Rs 2.52 Crore Worth Smack, Forms SIT for Drug Crackdown
In Uttar Pradesh, police arrested a man and found a large amount of smack worth over Rs 2.52 crore.
The state government also set up a special team to investigate the illegal sale of codeine syrup and other drugs.
This team includes police and health officials.
They have arrested several people and found that the syrup was being sold for illegal drug use, not for medical reasons.
