JKJAAC Calls Mass Protests Over PoK Education Blockades

JKJAAC Calls Mass Protests Over PoK Education Blockades

A group called the JKJAAC wants people in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to hold peaceful protests.

The group says security forces and roadblocks are making it difficult for people to reach schools and hospitals.

It says some schools and medical facilities have been taken over by security forces.

Students, parents, and community members have been asked to join sit-ins.

One large protest is planned in Dhirkot at 1:30 PM.

Organizers want women and children in school uniforms to participate.

Other rallies are planned in the Mirpur and Muzaffarabad divisions.

Support marches are also planned in Birmingham and Italy.

The group says it will continue protesting until services are restored and detained activists are released.
