ITR Filing: Maximize Tax Deductions without Investments
Filing your income tax return (ITR) doesn't always require special investments!
Even if you haven't put money in things like ELSS or PPF, you can still save on taxes.
If you're employed and contribute to EPF, that can help.
You can also get tax breaks on tuition fees for up to two kids.
Each parent can claim this for their own children.
But, remember, fees like donations or bus fees don't count, only the tuition fee does.
Taxpayers can still attain tax benefits and claim refunds even without ELSS or PPF investments.
EPF contributions from salaried employees can qualify for deductions under section 80C.
Tax breaks are available on school/college tuition fees for up to two children.
Parents can maximize benefits by each claiming for two children.
Capitation, donation, and school bus fees do not qualify for the tax break.
