Uttar Pradesh Asks Gen Z to Share City Stories
Uttar Pradesh wants young people to help promote tourism.
It is asking them to make short videos called reels.
Each video can be up to 60 seconds long.
The videos should show what makes a city or hometown special.
People can talk about food, crafts, festivals, traditions, landmarks or hidden places.
The person making the video must appear and speak in it.
The video should be filmed outside with a recognizable place in the background.
It can be in Hindi or English and must finish with a special campaign line.
The government hopes these personal stories will encourage more people to explore Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has launched the ‘Visit My State Uttar Pradesh’ reel campaign.
Young residents are invited to create reels of up to 60 seconds about their cities and hometowns.
Videos may feature heritage, culture, food, crafts, traditions, people, hidden places and local experiences.
Participants must appear and speak on camera outdoors, with a recognizable landmark or destination visible.
Entries may be recorded in Hindi or English and must end with “Visit My State Uttar Pradesh.”
