BRS Leader Accuses Congress of Scam in Singareni Tenders
A leader from the BRS party in Telangana, T. Harish Rao, held a press conference to accuse the current Congress government of wrongdoing in the Singareni Collieries.
He said that the government is favoring certain contractors, including relatives of the Chief Minister, by changing the rules for tenders.
He also claimed that the government is hiding profits and using the money for political purposes.
Harish Rao demanded a thorough investigation into these matters and criticized the government for not being transparent.
He believes that the government is trying to protect the Chief Minister and his family instead of looking out for the interests of the people of Telangana.
Meanwhile, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy was felicitated by an environmental activist and attended a review meeting of Singareni Collieries, focusing on operational efficiency and workers' welfare.
BRS leader T. Harish Rao accused the Congress government of irregularities in Singareni Collieries tenders.
He alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his brother-in-law Srujan Reddy are at the center of the scam.
Harish Rao demanded a judicial or CBI probe into all coal and solar tenders issued by Singareni Collieries.
He claimed that tender conditions were changed to benefit select contractors, leading to financial losses and misuse of funds.
Harish Rao accused the government of attempting to shield the Chief Minister and his relatives instead of protecting Singareni's interests.
