NIA Files Chargesheet Over Kishtwar Attack Against Accused, Slain Terrorists
The National Investigation Agency has filed a long court document about a reported attack in Kishtwar.
It names Maneer Ahmed, who was arrested, and three terrorists who were killed by security forces.
The agency says the attack happened in the Chatroo area on February 22, 2026.
It accuses Ahmed of helping the group by sheltering or hiding its members.
The NIA says the group was led by Saifullah and linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad.
It also alleges that the plan came from Pakistan.

The three slain men are identified as Pakistani national Saifullah, also known as Saifullah Kashmiri, Atiq Nazir and Atiq Ur Rehman.
The NIA alleges Ahmed harboured and concealed terrorists and says the group attacked at Wani Mohalla, Passer Kote, in Kishtwar’s Chatroo area.
The agency says the attack was led by Saifullah, a commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad, and alleges the plot originated in Pakistan.
