Jets CB Qwan'tez Stiggers carted off after losing consciousness

Qwan'tez Stiggers is a football player for the New York Jets.

He plays a position called cornerback.

On Tuesday, August 11, he was practicing with his team.

They were practicing together with another team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During a drill, Stiggers fainted and lost consciousness for a little while.

Doctors and medical helpers took care of him right away.

They put him on a stretcher and took him off the field.

His coach, Aaron Glenn, said he was okay and could talk.

Glenn said Stiggers was recovering well.

Stiggers is also known for being the first player in a long time to join the NFL without playing college football.
